Excerpt from Chapter 5

The Jungle

“For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf,
and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.”

― Rudyard Kipling

The jungle is an unforgiving and violent place, we often state that certain neighbourhoods are ‘like a jungle’.

So it’s not surprising that the chimp has your wits about you at all times, the old saying that ‘danger is round every corner’ is so true in the jungle.

The chimp has many objectives, one of which is the continuance of the species and so the sex drive, especially in males, is very strong.

A strong sex drive does indicate that you have a healthy chimp (I told you it wasn’t all bad!).

Your ‘fight’, ‘flight’ or ‘freeze’ (FFF) response and your ‘red mist’ are both all chimp, these are part of the chimp’s second objective, to survive.
