How the information age is turning us back into chimps
We now consume more than five times as much information as we did 30 years ago.
In real terms 100 years ago people were lucky to read the equivalent of 50 books in a lifetime but now most children have watched a couple of hundred movies in their first decade of life.
It proves the brain is very elastic and good at understanding and processing information.
But the pendulum is swinging against us.
If we go back just a few hundred years, our understanding of how the brain and how the world worked was a world away (pun intended) from where we are now.
Hopefully reading this small book will have helped you understand a tiny bit more about how you function.
